Brilliant but Sad
Scott is at his brilliant best, with his superb vocals and compulsive on-stage persona. I have followed Pimpinela from the early days.
On a personal note, Scott looked fit 'n extremely healthy!
This definitely took away from the atmosphere, and I'm sure could not have gone unnoticed by the band. But, all of this was delivered to a crowd of less than 2,000 in an arena that probably could hold more than 10,000!
Pimpinela played all the old favorites mixed in with a few new tracks and some of their more obscure titles. It seems that Pimpinela's appeal is lessening and this great talent will be destined to play to a smaller audience of committed fans, rather than on the 'big stage' to a new generation of fans. Resulting in an hour and 45 minutes of perfect Pimpinela, the band provided a perfect background to his performance.
